Conference Date : February 28 to March 3, 2023
This conference is being organized in collaboration with the Network for Education and Research on Peace and Sustainability (NERPS) of Hiroshima University, following the success of the first Hiroshima International Conference on Peace and Sustainability (HICPS 2022),
Next year’s edition will be highlighted by keynote addresses from highly notable dignitaries.
H.E. Dr. Suwit Khunkitti – Vice Chairperson, Board of Trustees, Asian Institute of Technology and former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education of Thailand.
Ms. Armida Salsiah Alisjahbana – Executive Secretary, United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP)
The NERPS Conference 2023 is planned as an in-person event at the Asian Institute of Technology campus. Fully virtual sessions will be scheduled during the first day of the conference.
The theme of this conference will focus on various pathways that bridge peace promotion and sustainable development, with three main topics (i.e., peace, sustainability, or their nexus). The list of subtopics is on the website.

- The Call for Abstracts has been extended up to 30 November 2022;
- Financial aid to partially/fully cover transportation and accommodation are available to students with full-paper proposals (please visit the conference website for detailed information and to download the guidelines); and
