Option I: Arabic and North African Studies Program (ARANAS)
The ARANAS program is a set of fixed classes, additional activities, and travel, and students must come to us under a specific Session.

Courses offered: Course Selection depends on sessions students are attending Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) with levels from beginning to advanced. Please see website for details http://www.aui.ma/aranas/
North African Studies (NAS) courses taught in English and also part of the regular summer session.

SSC 2301: Arab Society
Arabic classes are taught in the morning and the North African studies classes in the afternoon, respectively.

*The program fee includes meals on campus, scheduled class travel expenses and meals, textbooks, airport pickup/drop off, teaching assistants, special lectures, club materials, and scheduled activities; it does not include airfare or personal expenses.
Option II : Regular Summer Session
Students can choose to take up to 2 classes (6-7 SCH) from the list of course offerings in the Summer of 2023
Regular summer session dates:
Arrival: May 29
Orientation: June 2
Class Begin: June 5th
Final Exams: July 22-23
Departure: July 24
Regular Summer Session Cost:
Tuition is paid to the home institution. Other fees, like books, housing, meals, housing deposits, insurance, etc., are paid at AUI.
In both programs, you will have a Moroccan roommate and access to all university facilities as usual, with free weekends for travel. In the ARANAS program there are special trips and activities but require Arabic language as this is the purpose of this special program.

応募方法：プログラムに参加したい方は、氏名・所属・学籍番号・メールアドレス・参加したいコースを記入の上、下記までメールしてください。

応募者多数の場合は選考となります。また、参加には筑波大学からのノミネーションが必要です。
参加については、メールに折り返しご連絡します。また、ノミネーションに必要な書類は以下になりますので早めに揃えられるよう確認しておいてください。

1. a scanned copy of the recent transcript
2. a scanned copy of the student’s passport
3. a scanned photo in JPG format that will be used for the creation of the student’s ID at AUI.
