“Japanese Culture Week” is back again this year, offering a full experience of Japanese culture! You can enjoy activities such as Japanese calligraphy, a New Year’s card crafting workshop, traditional Japanese New Year’s games like Koma (spinning top) and Fukuwarai, and “the Run Run Quiz: Japanese Anime edition” and much more.
This event is open not only to international students but also to Japanese students! Everyone at the University of Tsukuba—students, staff and professors—is welcome to join. Let’s have a wonderful time exploring international cultural exchanges while learning how to enjoy the Japanese New Year and various aspects of Japanese culture together.
We are currently preparing a lots of fun activities. For “Run Run Quiz Japanese Anime edition”, we would like to share the following information in advance!

【Schedule and Details】
15:15～15:30 Reception
15:30～16:30 Run Run Quiz, and some other games are now being prepared!
★ You will be divided into groups and challenge each game. Let’s work together with your team member and get lots of points!
☆ Whether you join individually or with friends, everyone is very welcome!
★ Feel free to join the event in cosplay of Japanese Anime! (This is optional, so it’s up to you to wear a costume or not♪)
☆ At the end, there might be a wonderful gift for all participants…?!
