【Call for participation（Application Deadline Extended！）】The Cross-cultural Collaborative Summer Program 2026 at E-JUST

エジプト・日本科学技術大学 (E-JUST) と本学の協働によるサマープログラムを今夏もやります！ E-JUSTの学生と共に、フィールドワーク、グループワークショップを通してエジプトが抱える諸課題への理解を深め、解決策を探っていきましょう。

期間： 令和8年8月31日～9月9日 （8月29日出発、9月11日帰国）
（事前学習：8月27日予定、事後学習：9月16日予定）
場所： E-JUST（アレキサンドリア）、カイロ
募集人数： 10名
募集対象： 本学在籍の学群生、大学院生
参加費： 779USD（宿泊費、現地交通費、サイトビジット入館料込み）
上記参加費以外に日本国内の交通費および成田/羽田 -カイロ/アレキサンドリア間の往復航空運賃、旅行保険代、エジプト入国ビザ代がかかります。
※本プログラムは、海外留学支援事業（はばたけ！筑大生）多文化共修参加支援を申請中です。 採択されますと、15万円の支援が得られます。

The summer programme organised in collaboration between the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) and our university will be running again this summer! Join E-JUST students in deepening your understanding of the challenges facing Egypt and exploring potential solutions through fieldwork and group workshops.

Period: 31 August – 9 September 2026 (Departure: 29 August / Arrival in Japan: 11 September)
(Pre-departure preparation: 27 August (scheduled), Follow-up session: 16 September (scheduled))
Places: E-JUST (Alexandria), Cairo
Number of participants: 10
Eligibility: Students enrolled at this university (undergraduate and postgraduate students)
Participation Fee: USD 779 (includes accommodation, local transport and site visit entrance fees)
In addition to the above participation fee, participants will be responsible for domestic travel costs within Japan, return airfare between Narita/Haneda and Cairo/Alexandria, travel insurance and the cost of an Egyptian entry visa.
Our programme is currently applying for funding under the Overseas Study Support (Habatake! ) to support participation in multicultural collaborative learning activities. If the application is approved, we will receive 150,000 yen in funding.

Credits and Certification of Completion:
Participants who attend the entire programme and are recognised by the University as having achieved the intended learning outcomes will be awarded credits for the following courses, as well as a certificate of completion and digital badges indicating their level of attainment for each competency.
