University of Tsukuba accepts exchange students, known as Tokubestu Chokogakusei (students who take courses at our university and earn credits), through agreements with domestic universities and overseas partner institutions that have student exchange agreements with us.
From the 2024 academic year, some courses are available online via JV-Campus. Those wishing to enroll in online courses under the special exchange student program should review the application information below, contact the exchange program office at their home university, and proceed with the application.

※ The study period is by semester (Spring Semester: April–September, Fall Semester: October–March). However, there are currently no courses available for the Spring Semester.
